Snow Fun 09

Staff and children have been busy catching up on work disrupted due to the weather last week. However, there is no denying that it was great fun for those who had an unexpected day or two at home. Look at these cheery grins!
Chinese New Year (Year of the Ox)

Children in Willow celebrated Chinese New Year and had fun making masks (of Oxes of course) and looking at Chinese articles lent by friends and family.
Circus Day 2009
The children had a fun filled day learning a range of
circus skills including plate spinning, Diablo, club balancing
and stilts. We would liked to say a very big ‘thank you’ to
Mark Bant of Montana Events for offering to run this event for the school free of charge.
Photos from Marle Hall Summer 2008
Year 6 arrived back safe and sound from Marle Hall, ready for a good rest over the weekend in time to start final rehearsals for "Jack and the Beanstalk" which was a great success. Here are some photos of Marle Hall. Parents are welcome to save a copy of pictures of their child.

Tutankhamun Exhibition 2008
As a great treat and inspiring event, the school organised a trip to take almost the whole school to London to see the Tutankhamun Exhibition at the O2 Centre. Read about it here.
Key Stage 1 Nativity Play 2007
The ever-popular nativity play was a great success. This year it was entitled "The Hoity-Toity Angel". Click for a bigger picture.
These events always represent a great deal of effort behind the scenes, as well as the performance you see from the children. Thanks to everyone who helped out and to the children themselves who put on a great show.

Children In Need day 2007.
The children looked very cheerful in their red and yellow in support of Pudsey Bear and Children in Need. Throughout the day children who wanted to wore bear faces. Thank you for sending in your old mobile phones- we collected 69 mobiles which will be changed into £345 by Fonebak. £40 was also collected for face painting making a grand total of £385.
Well done to everyone.
