Cluster Looking for Learning Days

In January we joined together with Austrey and Newton Regis Schools in a ‘Looking for Learning’ project. This involved the children working in a cross-curricula and creative way on work they had mostly planned themselves. Staff from the three schools visited each other’s classrooms and talked to the children about their learning. Our themes were:

Willow Class: The Rainbow Fish
Sycamore Class: Carnival of the Animals
Maple / Rowan Classes: Space
Oak Class: Shipwrecked!

The children from all three schools had a very productive and enjoyable day.

Harvest Service: Thank you to everyone who contributed tins, coffee, tea, sugar and biscuits for our Harvest Celebration. A special thanks to the members of the Warton Allotments Association who generously donated some of their harvest produce. Thank you to Mrs. Jones and Miss Gray, who organised the gathering of the produce and arranged the display for the Service. Any perishable produce left over will be taken to St.Giles Hospice to help them to provide cooked meals for the patients and any tinned goods will be sent to the Birmingham City Mission.  Thank you for your generosity.

Ofsted: We were pleased with the result of the OFSTED inspection. You can access the full report here.

Uniform

Find yourself short of school uniform? Don't forget that our logo sweatshirts may be ordered from the school office. The new fleeces proved very popular last year and these, showerproof jackets, bodywarmers and book bags may also be ordered. Check with the office for the full list and prices.
